While We Were Gone

While Sherrie and I were gone, Danny and James enjoyed exploring and doing some activities with the kids. They rode the train to Munich on Saturday, got to eat at the Hofbrauhaus (Danny didn't get to last time--it is where Hitler presented the Nazi Party's Twenty Five Point Program--there used to be swastikas painted on the ceiling--obviously it's different today), saw the glockenspiel and toured some churches. On the other days, they went to church, went to a rope's course, saw the Lichtenstein castle, saw Rubble Hill, cooked out, flew kites, threw the football around and relaxed. On the night we arrived back home, Danny got to go spend an early 40th birthday present and drive a Lamborghini and Ferrari at a track about an hour from here. He also taxied in the Ferrari and a Porsche with a professional driver and claimed that it was the coolest part. I wanted him to do this with his brother, and James happily obliged to do it as well!
