While Danny attended the Belleau Wood ceremony, the kids and I went to the Rulantica Water park for a day, stayed the night and then went to Triberg the next day.
This is inside our hotel at the Rulantica water park. The kids had a blast!
The restaurant at the hotel was pretty spectacular as well!
The next day, we went to the Triberg water falls to start the day.
We then traveled 10 minutes down the road to see the world's largest working cuckoo clock.
We stopped by the 1000 Clocks store. I also saw the exact cuckoo clock that I owned as a kid (above). It didn't have the swinging girl, though.
Finally, our last stop was to enjoy a toboggan run (alpine coaster). We did it 3 times and was such a fun way to end the day!
