Colmar, France
We hopped on the train for one last excursion with James and Sherrie and went to Colmar, France. Supposedly, the town inspired the creator of Beauty and the Beast. The town was adorable, and it was so neat to walk around. I took a million pictures. The sculptor of the Statue of Liberty (Bartholdi) was also from Colmar. We walked around, tried some French biscuits, toured a church, ate some French food, had some gelato, napped in the breeze while Embry played, and toured the Bartholdi museum. James and Sherrie enjoyed some French pastries before we left as well. We were tired when we left and tired when we came home, but it was worth seeing this cute town.
I loved these giant pots everywhere!
Check out the stork's nest at the very top of the church!
He avoids my pictures.
Market Hall
This is how big the ear is on the Statue of Liberty.
We headed home tired and exhausted. Time to recoup from our vacation!
