He is Risen!

I loved my beautiful Easter tulips.
Embry, along with the other kids in the building, helped decorate our entrance for the holiday.

I made a loaf of bread for the first time. I've made rolls, biscuits and more, just never a loaf of bread. A friend had made it for our small group and reassured me that the recipe she had was super easy. So we did it! We even had a family kneading party so that we could finish it quicker. It turned out delicious!

Even though the kids know what the real reason of Easter is (Christ is Risen!), we still do Easter baskets for fun.

On Easter morning, we had tailgate worship since the weather was decent. It was nice to not have to wear masks while we sang as well.

After church, we had an egg hunt with the kids in our building. One dad hung an egg super high in a tree, and the teens decided they were going to get it.

Success! The best part was that there were just popcorn kernels inside of the egg! So much work for nothing...haha!
These pictures are backwards, because Evan got to go last. The littles went first.

After the egg hunt, we had an Easter potluck with our building. It was all yummy and good fun!

The Easter Bunny was also sighted on Friday before Easter. Embry yelled that there was a parade and no one believed her. Finally, Eli noticed that she was right!
