Gertelbach Wasserfälle
We drove about an hour and a half (near France's border) to a beautiful hike to see the Gertelbach waterfall. The boys whined about going, but then said that it was their favorite waterfall and they loved being able to explore and get fresh air. My favorite part of the whole hike was seeing the rocks and trees just covered in moss. It was lovely.
Embry was cold, so she wore my jacked on top of her sweatshirt. This picture kind of gives you a glimpse at how long the waterfall was. We hiked a mile down it, and didn't even finish it. There were several walking bridges that I wish would have come out in this picture. It was so neat and beautiful to see!
See the tree---the moss was glowing in the sun and made it almost look fluorescent!
And more moss!
Danny decided to reenact the Lion King.
Then he worked on some trust exercises...
I couldn't get enough of the moss covered trees and rocks.
