The boys had a day off of school on October 10th, so we headed to the apple orchard. We picked York and Stayman apples. We only picked a 1/2 bushel---but oh my that was still a ton! A couple of days later, I cut apples for hours!
I made applesauce, apple butter, 2 apple pies, and applesauce pancakes. That same night I was making homemade granola bars as well. I was in the kitchen from 12:30-9:00pm. I had 2 crockpots going and did another one the next day. I never want to cut another apple again!
This little stinker helped make her own apple pie.
