Our Mini Vacay in Hershey, PA
We stopped in Hershey, PA for a day and a half, and loved every second of being there. We stayed at the Hershey Lodge, which has a water park, and is geared towards kids. They even had a Kid's check-in in the front lobby. After eating dinner, we headed to the water park the first night. I forced Eli down one of the water slides (he has a fear of a lot of things including water slides), and then he couldn't stay off of the slides the whole time! He loved it!
The next day, I had booked an 80 minute Cocoa massage at the Hershey Hotel--which is very well-known for their spa. I needed this after all of our move-stress! Plus, Danny and I drove both vehicles, so we didn't get to take breaks during driving.
Ladies & Gentlemen, he is tall enough!
Pure joy!
Here are the water slides from the outside. This is where Eli spent all of his time!
The next morning, Embry looked too cute sleeping, that I had to take a picture. We've got to break her of this finger sucking habit.... And no, she does not have pjs on. Don't judge me.
Here was where we were waiting to enter to make our own Hershey bar. This was by far the coolest thing of the day!
Here comes our Hershey bars!
I'm not quite sure why I didn't get a picture of Evan's!
This machine dumped in the ingredients we wanted added to our bar. I chose pretzels and cookie pieces.
It then spread chocolate over the top.
Here it is going into the cooler machine.
We then got to design our packages for the Hershey bar on computers. Here a laser is writing our names on the edge of the box.
Our finished products! The bars were huge! We ate on them for days!
Embry's holding the one I designed in the picture.
Eli may have found a piece of heaven!
Waiting on the IMAX movie to start.
This was the one purchase that Eli chose to have from the gift shop. I think it lasted him nearly 2 weeks.
Embry wanted to copy her brothers.
The cupcake we ordered and ate. It had PB cups on it, and tasted amazing!

The next day, we headed to Hershey's Chocolate World. There we made and designed our own candy bar, took a 30 minute tour of how they make chocolate, watched an Imax video, and shopped in the humongous gift shop. Afterwards, we went on a historic trolley ride through the town to learn more about the town and Milton Hershey.
