Finally in Virginia!

We have finally arrived to our new home!  This picture was taken before we moved in by a month.  The house now has a white door.  While waiting on the moving truck to arrive (we waited 9 days), we did puzzles, went swimming, shopped for lots of new furniture, and hung out with & reunited with the Disney family!  In a future post, I will show you the inside--how I decorated the whole thing.  I at first was kind of sad about the worn-out condition of the house, but I have already made it "ours" and I definitely can call this place home.  It did help that we had new carpet, linoleum, and a new dishwasher!
Grandma Burton stocked us full of toys for our trip, including swimming goggles and diving gems.  Embry loved both things.  The goggles cracked me up!  Embry is now trying to swim on her own.  She catches a bubble in her mouth and dives headfirst in towards us and kicks and swims underwater to get to us!!  I'm so amazed!  She just wants to be like her big brothers.  Eli has always had a certain fear to water, and swimming has been hard for him.  The last few times we have went to the pool, he has not worn his life jacket and will swim to the wall whenever asked.  We are making HUGE progress!

While shopping for furniture, Embry had to try out this chair.  I asked her to close her eyes and take a nap, too ;).  That didn't work so much...

They were sooo excited to see our moving truck!  It had been kind of traumatic for Embry with all of her toys packed up and put on the truck in FLW.  She didn't quite understand what was going on.  To see her full of joy, and showing Mickey and Minnie her new house was too cute!
Evan and Eli love being with the Disney boys.  They ask almost daily for them to come over, or for them to go there.  They are so glad to have each other and to be in the same boat--new to the area.  It also helps that Bryna and Livia now can babysit!  Embry loves those girls and follows them around everywhere!
