Because we couldn't keep the flamingos in our yard from earlier in the week, we decided to drive 2 hours to the Sylvan Wild Bird Park so we could see and feed REAL flamingos! We had so much fun! It was so surprising that the beaks vibrated as they ate out of our hands. We loved the cute park, too, because there were so many birds to see and feed.

On the way home, we stopped in Greenville to see my campus. I am currently staying home this year to get my master's in LIS (Library and Information Science) degree. I hope one day to be a school librarian. It is all online so it has been really great to stay home. And surprisingly, I have been enjoying the work so far!
We then stopped in Kinston to go to the Broiler Room, an oyster bar. Even though it was expensive and Danny could have ate a million of them, he was happy with the plate he got! I even ate Rockefeller ones as an appetizer before my salad. I think we all enjoyed them, because there was bacon and seasoning in them! I'm too chicken to eat a raw one---it sounds so unpleasant!
