Who plants flowers on Halloween day? No one sane, but this girl does! I got them for cheap and they are pansies that can handle temps to 0 degrees. Since we have been have 70 degree days, a girl can hope they last a couple of months :). Plus, it rarely snows here. The petunias have long died and they were looking pitiful, while the plants/flowers I had on the top windows were still thriving. I hated daily looking at the dead ones when I pulled into the driveway. The pink flowers in the hanging pots have been thriving and I love them. I don't think they'll last in cold temperatures, though! I will do anything I can to beautify my pitiful shutters. I have fought and fought base housing to come and paint them, but they refuse.
