Summer

So we did a LOT this summer but I have failed at uploading pics to the blog. We enjoyed July 4th in CA, went to KC for a week, celebrated birthdays, and then moved into our house in CA. From there, everything was a whirlwind. We made it to the pool a couple of times, got to spend time with baby Bryce, played pickle ball, tried lots of churches, went to the beach, went to a Padres game, celebrated our 19th anniversary, and we got in a few appts before chaos consumed us. We slept on the floor for nearly a month before our stuff from Germany arrived. The pic above was our set up for the month. Once we got our stuff, we then had to unpack it all in 3 days before my job started. We also bought a purty Honda Pilot. I then started working and a week into the school year we got our storage shipment from NC. They had refused to release it to us for a long time because after they had found mold on our dining room chairs. I am happy to say that we are finally settled and feel closer to normal these days. Evan has started on a club soccer team and we have narrowed our church options down to two. I came home last week after work at a normal hour! Things are looking up.

Movers no longer come back for your boxes, so I frantically unpacked and threw things on counters while they were there.
