Our Projects are Back Under Way!

Since I am staying home this year to get a masters in Library and Information Science (I want to be a school librarian), the projects can commence! This just means I have had a little bit of free time on my hands to dream up of projects for my husband to do ;). I asked Danny to make me some pumpkins and presents for Fall and Christmas decor out of this huge chunk of wood. He sanded down the corners, stained them dark, painted the presents red (not pictured), and painted the pumpkins orange. He then sanded down the paint a little bit and glued a branch for the stem. I will add a picture of the presents when I put the finishing touches of ribbon on them. Here are the cute pumpkins!

I then asked him to make me a Christmas tray for our coffee table. I ordered a vinyl stencil off of Etsy and gave him the measurements I wanted. Here's how it turned out!

Lastly, I asked him to make me a giant snowflake to hang above our couch for Christmas. He played around with different pieces and pictures off of Pinterest and came up with the following:

 Isn't it gorgeous?!
