Disney World for Embry's 5th Birthday!!!

Surprise!! We didn't tell the kids we were going to Disney World until we were headed there! We went to Dunkin Donuts before school (I had already packed up everyone while they were at school the day before--and Danny packed up that van that night) and then we headed to Florida! The kids figured out within a couple of minutes that we were not headed back to base. Danny asked them if they wanted to go to school or go and celebrate Embry's birthday. They wanted to celebrate her birthday and asked if we could go to Altitude (a trampoline park). Danny then said, "What about Disney World?" They were so excited (and shocked) and the drive there went really quick! When we got there, we actually stayed by and went to the Kennedy Space Center first. As much as we enjoyed it, the highlight was seeing 6 different alligators alongside the road as we drove away that afternoon!

This was a simulator on how it feels to take off in a space shuttle. Embry couldn't ride it, but they let her watch us on the screens.

That evening, we drove to Orlando and checked in at our resort. The kids enjoyed how neat our hotel and room was!

The night before Embry's birthday, we surprised her and gave her a princess dress so that she could go to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique the next day! We also had a princess dining experience planned.

The next morning, the boys went to Epcot while Embry and I went to the Floridian for her boutique experience!

In the Floridian, they have a giant Christmas tree and gingerbread house!

Embry loved every minute of being pampered.

We then met up with the boys at Epcot.

Eli and I got stuck on a ride while there. It was at the end at least!

At the princess dining, Embry met 5 princesses and was in shock and awe. She was overwhelmed and did a lot of staring!

The boys were so excited that I made them pose too...

Our waitress even gave Embry a card with all of the princess' signatures!

That night, we celebrated her birthday with a unicorn cake. She opened her presents. Unfortunately, she came down with something and had a fever by this point. I was grateful that I brought along meds!
