Auction Time!

Danny and I took a date night to head to the yearly auction from Hong Kong.  We came home with the following pieces.  The dresser is for Evan's room.  Isn't it perfect to fit his red, white, and blue theme?!  I figured that I can paint it whenever we change his room.  The second piece was a random purchase but I simply love it.  The boards come from a sunken ship.  The frame is steel so it will NOT fall apart in all of our future military moves!  It can go in a basement, bedroom, living room, etc.  I wish I could use it as a TV stand, but it doesn't have a place for a DVD player :(.  The last piece was NOT from the auction. I bought it about a year ago from the gift shop.  I just never took a picture of it.  I simply love how huge the chest is.  I fill it with all of our winter sweatshirts, coats, halloween costumes, etc.  It is nice to have more storage space in this small Asian home.  It is super heavy and will also not fall apart easily!  I am beginning to worry about the weight of all of our possessions for the shipment home!
