San Francisco
We spent 2 days in San Francisco and did all of the touristy things. Danny and I were here over 14 1/2 years ago and only had Evan with us. The first evening there, we visited Lombard Street, Fort Mason (to view the Golden Gate Bridge), Ghirardelli Square, and Pier 39. To get to Pier 39, we decided Danny's ankle needed a rest and we took an autonomous car (through Waymo). It was so crazy to be in a self-driving car!
The next morning we ate breakfast at a cute cafe (Hollywood cafe) and then we got on a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus to see the sights we didn't get to see yesterday.
The boys absolutely loved seeing "the painted ladies" since they truly care about old tv shows that mom and dad used to watch.
I wish we would have hopped off here to see the Japanese garden. It looked beautiful.
After the bus, we headed to the Boudin factory to watch them make sourdough bread and to also have some clam chowder.
I had to buy some bread of course!
We then shopped in the candy store across the street.
That evening, the boys took a night tour to Alcatraz, while Embry and I got pedicures and ice cream.
