2 Band Concerts in March

Eli, who is in beginning band, had a concert the first week in March. He surprised us by getting up and moving seats, then picking up a baritone and playing that for the first song. We had no idea he was going to play a different instrument! Since he plays the trumpet, it has the same fingering, so he had volunteered to learn the part for the song. He's a sneaky thing and didn't tell us. All of the rest of the songs he was back on his trumpet.

The next week, Evan had his concert (he's in advanced band at the middle school) at the high school. They played with the orchestra as well. Danny was traveling, so I did a lot of videoing. They sounded great!
