The Night Before Christmas, and watch
Elf.
On Christmas morning, we read the Christmas story from the book of Luke and then pass out the presents once we tell the kids which wrapping paper is theirs. We only open a couple and then we eat my grandma's famous cinnamon rolls. Then we go back to unwrapping the rest of the gifts!
After opening presents, I did this puzzle that Carolyn sent me of Neuschwanstein castle. Danny also made us a wonderful dinner of prime rib, sautéed mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes.
The kids had a blast with all of their new presents.
Hannah always sends the kids Christmas pjs for Christmas Eve. Unfortunately the mail was so backed up this year that we didn't receive these until after Christmas. My Christmas cards weren't even received by people until mid January even though I had sent them the 2nd week of December.
The kids loved the pjs!
We love receiving Christmas cards!
