More Projects Complete!!!

I had Danny make me Christmas card holders this year! The one we had barely held any!

But...this Christmas card holder that Danny made me is so empty. The sole card I have is so lonely. I am happy to send our new address to anyone that wants to make this Christmas card corner look a whole lot happier...
I also found 2 matching chairs at a Habitat for Humanity store for $15. They were gross. I thought I would just be able to recover them, but when taking it apart, I noticed that all three layers were disgusting and the wood for the seat was not going to hold up for much longer. Danny cut new wood for the seats and I reupholstered them with new foam and leftover material I had from the bench seats.

 Voila!
I didn't want them to be so matchy matchy, but I didn't want to buy new fabric as well. I did cover them with dark grey slipcovers about a week later to catch food and I liked that look much better.
Danny also wanted to make a new Jesse Tree. Here was the first one he did in 2014. He destroyed it before we moved here because he was unhappy with the quality.
Here is the process of the new one. He made it MUCH bigger, and I absolutely love it! I like that it can sit on the floor, and I don't need to find a table for it.

 Isn't she gorgeous?
We read a story from the Jesse Tree book every night and hang up an ornament. It comes with scripture readings and it takes you through the bible from Adam and Eve to the birth of Jesus.
