I decided to make my sister-in-laws hot pads with some cute material I found at Walmart. It ended up being a LOT more difficult than I thought it would be. I taught myself how to free motion quilt on my sewing machine. That took a lot more patience and time than I realized. In the end, I spent several days and MANY hours making 26 hot pads. They are very far from perfect, but I love how they came out. I made sure to keep 2 for myself!
