Evan's 9th Birthday!
Evan turned 9 on June 29th. Because he attended summer school, it was his first year EVER to get to bring birthday treats! I made homemade chocolate chip brownies from scratch and they were pretty yummy. He also requested a donut cake, rather than a traditional birthday cake. Daddy left for work late, so that he could pick up Dunkin Donuts for his breakfast. After school, Evan opened his presents. We were then going to do laser tag, but the place was closed. So instead we went bowling, and then ate at a Japanese restaurant. He was a happy boy!
His presents were: a new watch, Minecraft legos, a new Daddy pillow (per his request), new rocks for his collection, a container for his rock collection, a book of why, $5 from Hannah (he purchased Pokemon cards with it), and a Minecraft t-shirt.
Enjoying sushi!
They sang Happy Birthday to him at the restaurant and gave him ice-cream. He also ordered a Japanese drink that he had remembered drinking in Okinawa. He likes these drinks, because there is a marble inside of the glass bottle.
We are fishies!
