Garden Updates
BEGINNING OF JUNE:
My cucumbers took off with all of the rain!
My short-lived cilantro is now done. I had no idea that the seeds that sprout after the cilantro is done, is coriander. I learn something new everyday!
I'm not sure why my oregano didn't grow any bigger. I'm guessing that it was because of the closeness of the other plants.
2ND WEEK IN JUNE:
My cucumber plant is growing so quickly!
Underneath this pretty flower is a baby cucumber!
Baby Tomatoes!!!
END OF JUNE:
I freaked out when I saw these "icicle-like" growths ALL OVER my tomato plants. After some research, I found out that these are called root initials. These have grown due to the massive amounts of rain and high humidity that we have had in the last 2 weeks. The plant is stressed. Root initials do not affect the tomatoes...thank goodness!
My peppers are taking off!
See that orange carrot peaking through?!!
Go, cucumbers, go!
My onions are getting big!
