We found out that we are going to have another baby next July. Evan was the 2nd to know. We (Mommy and Evan) brought home a newborn outfit, a bib that said "I Love My Big Brother" and a pink and blue balloon to surprise Daddy with. Evan came inside with all of the gifts and after a minute, Daddy finally figured out what Evan was trying to tell him. Evan then said, "Mommy is going to have a baby!"
At the first ultrasound, Evan stood up in his stroller when the picture came on the screen and said, "It's a shark!" I replied, "No Evan, it is a baby!" He, in a frustrated voice said, "No, it is a shark!" Later that evening he excitedly told Daddy, "Baby peanut's heartbeat goes swish swish!" (We call the baby "peanut" until we know the sex of the baby)
