Spain

Before we move from Germany back to the states, we planned a big trip to go around Spain and Portugal for 10 days. We started by flying into Barcelona, took a train to Valencia, took a train to Seville, hired a driver to take us to Lisbon, took a train to Porto, and then flew back to Barcelona. 

In Barcelona, we took an all day tour to Park Guell (SO BEAUTIFUL) and then to the Basilica Familia (BREATHTAKING). Both of these places were so spectacular! We started our first evening off with Spanish tapas.

I had hurt my neck a week before this trip and I tweaked it pretty bad during all of our walking around and jerky stops on the metro, so the next day we relaxed by the pool for a bit instead of going out. We then hopped on the train in the afternoon and took it to Valencia. 

Danny agreed to wear a man purse so that I wouldn't have to wear one cross body and hurt my neck any further. I think he sports it nicely. 

We had the cutest apartment in Valencia. 

We enjoyed some of the sights in Valencia, but our main goal was to go to the aquarium for Evan. Old town Valencia was very pretty.

We enjoyed the dolphin show at the aquarium as well.

Next, we took the train to Seville. Spain is known for Sangria, so we made sure to try some when we got to Seville while we waited for the check-in time for our hotel. 

The next day, we hiked the whole city and took in all of the sights! It was a great place!

We loved touring the bull fighting ring. We just wish we could have seen an actual show! There was one the day after we left.

We enjoyed watching a Flamenco dancer.

Spain was everything we wanted it to be and more! We were now headed to Portugal.
