Lichtenstein Castle, Abenteuerpark, Nebelhohle Cave, and Tübingen
We started our Saturday morning at Lichtenstein castle. Lichtenstein means "white stone" because the castle is built into the white stone on the hill.
After we went to the castle, the boys went to a rope course near by, Abenteueerpark. They were there for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. They had a blast! Eli even said he wants to come back here for his birthday. Embry and I hung out at a playground nearby.
This picture reminds me of "Where's Waldo." Where's Evan?!
The park nearby had a zip-line for Embry to enjoy too!
She also picked out a Kaktus (cactus?) popsicle. I'm not sure what the green stuff on the top was, but she loved it! Danny thinks its like pop rocks on the top.
We then drove to Tubingen for dinner and more adventure. It was a gorgeous town. The flowers, the canal, the square, the views...they were all beautiful!
We ate at a restaurant right on the water and had some good German food.
We then stopped and had some gelato. Eli and I are not eating any sugar for 30 days, so this is why he is "crying" in the background. Don't worry--I didn't force him to not eat sugar with me. He volunteered!
Tübingen was beautiful and we really enjoyed walking around.
To finish off the evening, we took a boat ride down the canal. The kids had a ton of fun running their hands in the water and grabbing seaweed. Danny spent the whole ride holding onto Embry's belt loops so she wouldn't fall in. The weather was perfect, and after an eventful day, it was so nice to relax.

We then headed to the Nebelhohle cave. Embry was excited to see her first cave!
