Freedom!

We still don't have a home yet, but we have our van and we can leave the hotel!!!! It was amazing feeling human again! We also got German cell phones so we felt connected to the world around us. We ventured out bit by bit. I was nervous about driving and reading German signs, but I'm feeling better about it once I forced myself out. 

On our many walks around base, we found the school that Eli and Embry will be attending! It's an incredibly short distance from the hotel so they will be walking.

Embry got surprise gifts from Aunt Hannah!

One evening, we walked off base a little ways to an Italian restaurant. The pizza was pretty good! We wanted to sit outside but the bees kept bothering us. We also have to get used to paying for water :(.

The trails here are AMAZING! They are literally everywhere! I am so excited to utilize them. Danny and I went for a run tonight and even at 80 degrees, it was still enjoyable! The humidity is very low, and the breeze coming through the trees was refreshing. Check out how wide these trails are!

Slow down speed demon. I need to walk. I've ate bad foods and have been in quarantine for 14 days.
