Visiting Ft. Riley

After getting to Tim and Kara's on Thursday night, we stayed at a cabin on Friday night.  It was a perfect little outing at an adorable cabin.  It fit both families perfectly.  It was freezing outside though, so the boys took breaks to come in and play games.

Matt (our old neighbor from across the street) took the boys to see the Apache helicopters.  From the looks of things, they enjoyed themselves!  Evan and Eli were so happy to be reunited with Aidan!

While the boys played with the helicopters, Kara and I went and ate at a delicious restaurant in Manhattan.  I was happy and stuffed!

 Later that evening, we went to the Blair's house (our old neighbor's/friends from across the street).  The Salazar's (other friends/neighbors of ours) had also come down to Ft. Riley.  It was so great to be reunited again!

 Still being cold outside, it was only appropriate to make s'mores!  

 Embry felt left out ;).

 Alicia's birthday was coming up, so Matt surprised her with a birthday cake!

Evan & Eli spent the night.  They were so excited to have a sleepover!
