Evan joined the library reading program once we got here to FLW. He begged me to sign up, because in Okinawa, the librarian on base had told them about all of the prizes that they could receive. Evan was able to receive all of the possible prizes, and then even won the overall drawing for ages 5 to 7! His name was drawn out of a hat, and he won this bike! Funny thing is though, this is the EXACT same bike that we just had bought Evan for his birthday a month and a half ago! Walmart was really generous and took this bike back that he won, so that he could get the money instead. With his $80 gift card in hand, he went to town (at Walmart). He felt like it was his birthday again! Our only stipulation was that the toys needed to be outdoor toys. He spent almost all of it and saved the rest for tithe at church.
What a happy little camper!!!
